Why hello there. Have you been down to Sea Dog Barbers Lately? If you have then you will already know we have been working through the nights painting away a fabulous mural for Sweeny and his team down in Saint Austell in his outrageous new style Barbers.
It all started as one of those random moments when you meet a new person. Someone from the local town came to talk to us and told us about this lovely little barbers in Saint Austell Town and told us that they might be interested in some of the work that we do. So off we went to have a chat and before we knew it we were designing sketches, and products. Take a look at some of the concept art. Enjoy browsing as we go through the process. We started off by drawing the concept ideas down on paper after if you follow our instagram you will be able to find some videos of our progress through our drawings. After we had got the designs on paper we started putting the work up onto the wall in the barber shop as you can see in this slide show. The final image below is the finished concept that we painted up onto the wall using dot work and lines in black and white paint. Over all it took nights of painting late through the evenings into the early mornings starting around 8 pm till 5 am The idea behind the concept art was having a sea monster/ old pirate theme using the logo of sea dog barbers brand finishing off with David Mark Tomblin's Illustrative style.

we also created badges for Sweeney for his shop and are now talking about doing T shirt designs for their fresh looking brand. Keep follow us for updates.
